According to the National Bureau of Statistics of China, China’s invention patent application numbers have ranked first in the worldwide range since 2011, and 1.382 million applications were filed in the year of 2017. Meanwhile, the number of PCT applications filed by Chinese applicants reached 49,000 in 2017, ranking No. 2 in the world.
