Dongfeng Honda CRV Model Copying Brings 11 Companies to Court
The General Manager of Dongfeng Honda Automobile (Wuhan) Ltd announced Nov 22 that, regarding illegal copying of the CRV model by some domestic producers, a lawsuit has been filed against all the 11 infringing factories in an attempt to legally protect the property rights.

All CRV-related intellectual property has been already applied for and registered in China, He explained. No doubt, copying factories are in violation of domestic laws, and Dongfeng Honda Co. has therefore started a legal procedure as the only lawful CRV producer.

As the lawsuit is still in process, and there is no final court decision yet, the exact names of the infringing companies will remain undisclosed.
