NEC Sues Harris over Patent Infringement
NEC has filed two patent lawsuits against Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) and its affiliates, with the US District Court for the Northern District of California and the Federal Court of Canada respectively, claiming damages and seeking immediate cessation of infringement. Previously, NEC tried to negotiate a friendly resolution with Harris, but its efforts were fruitless. In result, NEC could do nothing but try out this only means of protecting its most valuable intellectual property.
